For a moment or so, Tohru had a feeling she wasn't leaving this class at all, which just meant more time she was forced to drag through just for a drag. Maybe her excuse wouldn't be good enough, unless if blood were to come gushing from the top of her head and ooze all over her face in some gory fashion- actually that sounded brutally awesome to the teen, like that American movie Carrie. However, Tsukuba-sensei soon issued Tohru a curt nod, which meant she was free to go, but only for just a few brief minutes, all she needed. Ugh...finally! Didn't take her long to stroll down the aisle while still holding her head and selling the act, but it was as she passed some little shrimpy tsundere, she heard the girl damn near ripping the face off the other pink haired girl. Didn't I see her somewhere before? Oh yeah! Beach Party Slaughterfest, she was that random chick who got crushed by a semi. Casting a cynical glare to her, Tohru muttered as she walked past the tiny girl in her usual insulting tone, "Jeez, someone forgot their chill-pills today." She almost felt sorry for that actress having to take that kind of flak. Out the door she went and down the halls, passing up the bathrooms instead and out onto the campus grounds, back to what she may consider now her favorite place in all the academy, the gardens. Just as before and pretty much always, the spring winds were whipping about the frail cherry blossoms, casting them through the air and letting them drift to the concrete pathway below Tohru's feet. There were so many now that the wind had perked up a bit, but it wasn't a full blown gale, almost like a pink snowstorm. Tohru took in the sight yet again and smiled, finding her a seat next to one of the blossoming sakura trees and leaning against it with a pleasant sigh escaping her lips, soon to be clenching one of her cigarettes. Fishing about in her shirt with one hand, she pulled out the crumpled up pack of Seven Star regulars and pulled out one that was slightly bent, lighting it after sticking it in her mouth. She took a slow drag and casually exhaled a ghostly wisp of smoke into the air, looking up into the blue sky speckled with sakura petals. Their bright pink hues....they reminded her a bit of Mira.... That girl's something... Tohru mused taking another drag of her cigarette, her mind almost as cloudy as the puff of smoke she released with a sigh. I mean first day we meet and already...we're friends. I never...felt like this about anyone at all. It's just weird. She couldn't think of what it was. How could it be that someone so vastly different from anyone's Tohru's ever hung out with could just automatically be friends with the street punk? Also how could Tohru just automatically be friends with someone so kawaii and elegant? It was really hurting her head just to think on this. Maybe it was something about her.... Maybe it was after being ostracized by nearly everyone, someone finally accepted Tohru for who she was. After all, Tohru did overlook a few of Mira's faults and accepted her as a friend. Well...guess I'll never know really. Mira's just someone....someone who makes me feel happy.... That's really all I could want.... There might be more to it down the road, but who knows? Closing her eyes, Tohru took yet another drag, before laying against the thick trunk of the tree and gazing up above, adrift in the infinite sea of her thoughts.
