Archibald - Kashmir Restaurant - Brenda and Charlie's body Quiet. The only sounds that could be heard were the light groans of old metal and the spinning of a film camera's tape, 'remarkable' thought Arch to himself as he slowly panned the camera across the large atrium showing it in all it's decayed glory. Bringing the camera to look at the ceiling he let out a shuddering breath, 'beautiful', the roof was made out of three large glass arches giving him a view of the ocean above and the impossibly tall skyscrapers. He switched the camera to picture mode by pushing a button and slipped it back into a satchel, looking to his right he saw a large neon light that made him squint, it's harsh light stinging his eyes. "Kashmir Restaurant," he mumbled to himself as he approached the door, "why not?", he approached the door casually and walked through as it hissed open, amazed that they still functioned after so long in dormancy -it's long sleep evident by the light coat of dust. In front of him was a dimly lit room, one side of exposed to the large atrium by a balcony, in front of him was a what must have been a cashier's desk, the register sitting there open. Archy being an "opportunist" decided to check it's contence, "empty," he grumbled to himself, moving past it. He approached the corner of the room where there was a table, a bottle of whiskey sat on top of it, he reached for the bottle of alcohol and picked it up, bring it to his lips so he could savor the golden liquid. "Charlie!", Arch dropped the bottle fright, the shrill voice echoed through the room making it sound even more terrifying, He slipped his hand into his coat and pulled out his revolver, moving ti the source of the sound and more sobbing. "Why did you make me do it, Charlie?" the screechy female voice sighed as Archibald approached the stairs from where the voice echoed up from. In the voice arch could detect the accent that can be easily pinned on someone from new jersey, he moved to face the stairway and saw it at the bottom of the stairs before he could even raise his gun the thing had it's up first, "drop it, Fresh Meat!" she barked snapping her cat masked face to him. Archy didn't need to be told twice, he dropped the pistol and put his hands up in submittion, "who the hell are ya?" "Names Archibald," he called down the stairs as he slowly made his way down, step by step, "Archibald Fell.", she raised her gun more menacingly this time. "what's in the bag," she spat, resting the body she was cradling gently on the floor, "Archibald?" she said his name with spite as she moved up the stairs, dropping her gun and picking up a crowbar to replace it. She came up to him until they were inches away from eachother, raising her Melee weapon she gently brushed it against his cheek, "is it something for me?", she cracked a smile that showed an intense lunacy, magnified by the dilation of her eyes. "i-it's me camera, m-miss." he squeaked as he leaned as far away from her as was possible without falling down. Her eyes seemed to lose some insanity when Archy said camera and her terrifying smile turned into a slightly expression. "Can I see it?", Arch nodded slightly and opened his satchel, pulling the camera out slowly and handing it to her, "wow..." was all she muttered before she bolted down the stairs and out of sight. "Hey!" he called after her, running down the stairs and almost slipping, "where ya going?!", he took a hard right and found her sitting on the floor at the far end of the room, leaning against the glass window. He went towards her and was about to demand his camera back when she grabbed his hand and pulled him to the floor, making him think his head on the glass. "how does it work?" she asked the question before Arch could protest and suddenly he found himself with the unnatural urge to want to explain, so he did. After an hour or so he had exhausted his fount of knowledge and they just sat there, in awkward silence, "can you take pictures of me?", at first he was shocked at the question then a smile crept on to his face, 'this us a good opportunity to get dome good shots of raptures inhabitants' he told himself as he stood up and switched his camera on. "certainly, miss.", she got off the ground and leaned against the glass window and smiled, this time a less creepy smile, he snapped the photo and she proceeded to a bar counter and sat on top with her legs crossed, giving a softer less toothy smile. Minute after minute passed and the pictures became funnier and more playful and they started to laugh and swap turns being pictured, enjoying each second of it. "I got to thank you Fresh M- Arch, you do know how to have a good time." she said as he started to pack up his camera, "I guess I owe you something in return," she ran off into what must gave been the kitchen and brought something back with her and handed it over to him, "it's a radio thing," she explained "you can use it to talk to other people around the city, he looked down at it and looked up and was startled to see no one there. "thank you!" he called out to the empty room, still bewildered on where she went.
