Seth could not bring himself to watch as Mason was executed, he had debated about whether he should of done it himself but he could not bring himself to actually kill someone up close like that, let alone someone he knew. That was one of his weaknesses, despite being a soldier and having killed and been responsible for the deaths of many others he still had killing people and seeing death.

After the deed was done Seth walked over to Mason's body almost in a trance only being snapped out of it when Mina walked over and shot it the bullet into his skull. Looking in shock at Mina for a second Seth shook his head and laughed as if nothing had happened "Wow, give me a warning next time." He spoke to no one in particular before walking into the house to look through more of the rooms in an effort to take his mind off what had just happened, after all it was partly his fault for leaving Mason weaponless for a period of time.
