All that Senia could hear was the soft tap of her own boots on the barren stone path. She had gone on the outskirts of the town, taking caution to where she went. She hardly wanted trouble for the rest of the afternoon. She stuffed her hands in her pocket and imagined herself invisible. She was nearing the end of the path and the woods near her were calling and peaceful. She smiled, turning toward the town and venturing into the streets.
