Jacob strode confidently through the streets, keeping to himself. This wasn't much of a challenge considering that no one wanted anything to do with him anyway. People would crowd to the opposite side of the street as him, casting him foul looks, and avoiding his gaze. Fortunately, it was early, so not many were out in the first place. Regardless, Jacob kept to alleys and side streets to reduce attention. Though he didn't care for the opinion of the commons, he found their reactions annoying. Jacob eventually reached his destination; the wall. He caught a glimpse of Ravenia leaving, so he darted back behind a corner for a second. Ravenia respected Jacob more then most in the city, but such treatment left him feeling uneasy. He wasn't used to civility. He certainly wasn't used to civil conversation outside of business matters. After she had passed out of view, he strode back towards the wall. He made his way over to a set of grappling lines. Jacob had picked up on how to use them rather quickly, but his radioactive hands had melted through a line when he was missing skin there before. He checked to make sure that his lead-lined gloves were secure, and that his coat covered his forearms. Satisfied, he made his way up the wall to meet the sunrise.
