Xukhezur and Lu'Vayla expressed their gratitude with deep nods, with the latter saying, "Thank you. We look forward to becoming better acquainted with you and yours when the time comes." As everyone was permitted inside the city, their curious glances fell on Cassandra and Nova walking ahead of them, before the pair of imaskari peeled off to lead their horses to the stables, causing them to miss the tall, pink-haired elf's episode. Still dressed in their plain dark gray hooded cloaks and light leathers typical for hunting and riding, worn over their more expensive nightscale attire, and not to mention Xukhezur's protomorphic jump suit, they shed their road dusted leathers once they were within the stables and hung them in the stalls with their horses, and beat the dust out of their cloaks before putting them back on over their shoulders. Xukhezur stretched some and yawned as they both emerged from the stables a few minutes later, just before Lu'Vayla beckoned him to follow her and the smells coming from the bakery. Both their biological rhythms were offset from those around them, due to the fact they had come from an underground environment on entirely different world. "Good idea," Xukhezur said, "the satisfaction of a little elven bread ought to help us adapt to the cycle of this land."
