First of all, how the hell did people keep knowing she was with Jaakuna?! She was starting to think her love life was being put out for all of Ivalice to see, and she was really starting to resent that. As they removed her cuffs, she scoffed lightly. Of course there was no point in them. Who knew where they were, even if she froze everything she was sure she'd end up in the middle of nowhere with no way to contact anyone. Gods, what had she done to deserve this? She felt trapped with this...this man. His fair hair betrayed his dark heart, this much she was sure of. She couldn't help but be uncomfortable, she hated the way he was smiling at her. At the mention of her engagement, she narrowed her eyes. He really did know everything about her. She didn't appreciate his insult, either. "I am engaged to no one." She told him, crossing her legs at her ankles. Old habits were hard to kick after all. She smoothed the skirt of her dress, sitting up properly. She knew he was trying to get to her, and she wasn't going to let him get under her skin. Though at the mention of Grant, she did remember Hamut mentioning that they had Grant arrested. "I thought you were going to tell me about your father's death, not make a point of my love life--which, quite frankly, is none of your business." -------- Nadeline let out an irritated huff, blowing her bangs off her forehead. She couldn't believe Jaakuna was panicking. Not that she blamed him, really. She did not know what kind of man the Emperor of Archadia was, but many people said that he and her aunt, Reia, had much in common. She looked to Wesley, her hands still busy healing Savayna. They didn't have time for Jaakuna's tantrum, they needed to regroup and find Vincent. "Snap out of it, Jaakuna, none of this is going to help us find Emiri." She spoke. "We must stay focused, we need to find out where they took her."
