"How 'good'...? It's not a matter of how good I am." Emiri said slowly. "I just turn back time to a state where whatever is broken or wounded is repaired...I return them to the state they were in before they were hurt." She explained, though it made her realize just how little she knew about her own ability. She had it with her for as long as she could remember, and yet when it came down to explaining it, she didn't have a clue. Was she even making any sense? "It's difficult to explain in words. I just do it, I don't really...think about it. I suppose it is more of a 'show don't tell' sort of situation." She remained looking at her hands, despite knowing Vincent had sat back down. The more she looked at him, the more she was reminded of her nightmare. Specifically, he reminded her too much of the Jaakuna who had killed her. -------- Get through one mess, and then prepare for the next one. Except Nadeline never thought for a moment that Emiri would have been taken away from them. In all truth, sh e had expected Emiri to be injured with Savayna. As bizarre as it sounded, she would have preferred that. At the very least, they would all still be together, right? They've gotten out of situations where they've gotten hurt. But to her, this was worse. She felt like a mother whose child had disappeared. Who knew what they were doing to Emiri, she didn't know what kind of person Archadia's Emperor was, but Jaakuna's reaction bothered Nadeline like no other. Would Emiri get hurt by him? Would he abuse her? Force her to do his bidding? It was torture to imagine what could happen. Wesley grasped her hand, and Nadeline looked up at him. He assured her that they would get through this and get her back. Oh, how she wanted to believe him. For now, she would let herself hope so, and prayed Vincent wouldn't do anything to Emiri. She smiled, nodding back at Wesley, though her smile faded slightly. "Jaakuna...I hope he will be alright." It felt odd to be worrying about him, but she supposed she felt a pang of guilt, too. "He insisted on going with her...perhaps in a way he knew something like this would happen. I mean, I imagined the worst, but when we found Savayna, I expected Emiri to be with her...how odd is it that I would have preferred to see her nearly beaten to death rather then being gone?"
