Yeah but that's where most people (who were in the arena) witnessed how the guards posted there were slain, wasn't it?
But it's true that Shin just ignored the lighting fuss like the stoic person he is. Solely focussed on one fight, unable to notice the other xD

Also, Sep: I don't know if that was part of your plan, but the lightbeam will make Shin lose his focus, making him at least partly visible. Just for your info. :)
