Jerus had heard that Mason was back, but he felt no need to see how the man was doing. He was alive and back, and that was good enough. He had been in the living room, meditating for the past few days while they waited for Mason's return, had he really come back. Jerus himself had been skeptical that death wasn't absolute in this realm, but with Mason's return from death, it would seem they would bring them back just to kill them again and again. A rather unpleasant thought if one devoted time to it.

When Seth questioned why Mina wasn't happier to see her brother back, Jerus decides to pull him aside and speak with him. Standing up, he steps between Seth and Mina, fixing him with a glare. "Stop and think about it, Seth. She may very well have to watch him die, and he her die, multiple times in our effort to escape this place. It's not something they're looking forward to."
