He chuckled, then waved to Saito himself, "Well, we will probably see you later, take care, we will try not to die before then." 

Lucian quickly stepped out in a rush to see if he could catch Ren before he got too far, which he had succeeded in. "Hey, are you alright? You seemed a bit more polite than usual." with a grin on his face and the tone used, it was clear that he was trying to joke around.
