Appearance: Jade’s body shape is exactly the same as that of a regular Mienshao. The only difference is the colour of her fur. Instead of the usual purple fur, she has the same black and white fur colour that her father has. She wears a pink bandana to cover up a large scar on her head.

Biography: Jade lived with her parents in Malwayne Coast while she was growing up. Her mother was really the only one who was there for her, though. Her father was drunk most of the time, and she didn’t have any siblings. Despite this, she managed to do well in school, and had plenty of friends.
 When she was younger, her parents didn’t fight a lot, but as time went on things changed. By the time Jade had turned 12, it had gotten to the point where they couldn’t even be in the same room together without arguing about something. They seemed to hate each other, and she was surprised they hadn’t split up yet.
 It was around this time that Jade started to take martial arts classes. It was a form of stress relief for her. It also allowed her to be away from the house, which was normally filled with the sounds of her arguing parents and the smell of booze. It was nice to get away from that once in a while.
 When Jade was 16, something happened that finally made her mother snap. One night, her father started to get particularly violent. At first, Jade just ignored the noises coming from the other room. Once she heard the sound of breaking glass, though, she went to see what was going on.
 Her father was holding a broken bottle to her mother’s throat. She immediately tried to push her father away, and for a moment he seemed to calm down. A split second later, he decided to hit Jade over the head with the bottle, catching her completely off guard.
 She was in the hospital for a while. Thankfully, there was no permanent damage other than a large scar on her head. She was pretty self-conscious about it, and from that point forward did everything she could to hide it.
 After getting out of the hospital, she found out that her mother finally left her father after that incident. She continues to live in her mother’s apartment to this day.

Differences: The only things that set her apart from other Mienshao are her fur colour and the move Vital Throw, both of which she inherited from her father.
