Levana observed Sonja's altering facial expressions between each of his replies. She let out a sigh, and found an area to trail her eyes off to, making sure no one was in the way to think she was staring at them. "Well, if anything, I'd think you were here for the same reason as me. I was thinking that was why everyone was here in the first place." Levana looked back toward Sonja, remembering how her mother taught her it was rude to look away while speaking to someone. "Hmm," she crossed her arms, "If you're here for the same reason, then it must suck that your family didn't inform you ahead of time." She realized the way she was talking must've seemed confusing. "Uh, sorry for beating around the bush, but I was told that this event was for engaged couples who've had their marriages arranged to meet. My parents still haven't introduced me to my fiance. They sorta just left me alone to mingle while they drank wine somewhere around the ballroom. I'm pretty sure the reason you're here is the same." Levana wondered if this would've surprised Sonja, and waited to see his reaction.
