~When at last Enasi begins speaking, Seishu remains silent, his eyes locked on some point in the distance. The words tumbling from his counterpart's lips are, for the most part, all true. The emotion behind them are muted, but there none the less. Knowing Enasi as he does the white haired guardian knows exactly what this conversation would sound like outside Their World. The whispers if the trees, the muttering in the grass, all begins to still, slowly but surely, until eventually all is still, the gentle breeze from before gone entirely. Seishu continues to let his counterpart say what he needs to, his responses floating vaguely before his eyes as he waits. Even after the apology, his heart aches, knowing that there are new and different reasons for it. However, he waits, letting Enasi do what he needs to. When the other looks to him, Seishu gazes back, his expression blank but not unkind. Moments later his voice cuts short, and a smile tugs at Seishu's lips even as the pain in his chest throbs harshly. The now flushing guardian before him tugs the smile a little wider and once he falls completely silent. Seishu lets out a soft sigh. Standing carefully he hops up to Enasi's branch and shuffles forward. Carefully he slips around the smaller male, holding tight to him to keep him from falling, and settles down against the trunk with Enasi sitting with his back now to Seishu's chest. Not the most comfortable position for the jewels, but Seishu ignores that for now and simply slips his arms around the red head's waist. With another sigh he rests his head against Enasi's shoulder and begins speaking softly. “Your love and wishes for your people has never been wrong, just the manner in which you went about making those wishes come true. I'm not about to start nagging you on that, since you obviously get the point now. They love you, that is clear, and though loath to admit it, I obviously have dome something wrong as well.” The admission stings, but he pushes past it to finish making his point. “If I had been doing everything right, I would not be here, and while the powers may hate me for saying this, I would not change any of this for the sake of anything. Even the precious balance.” His voice grows even softer as he smiles over his own admission. “As to the matter of us. . .I knew the pain would come after this, and I accepted it days ago. Actually, I accepted it long before I think you even realized how you feel about me.” He chuckles lightly. “Enasi, I'm willing to put up with it, and I wish to relish all the time we have together. However, if all it is doing is making you sad, thinking about the end. . .” His voice stalls a bit, but he manages to finish his sentence without it cracking. “Then I guess we can go ahead and begin pretending to go back to what you call normal now, make the transition easier on you. . .” He means what he says, despite the pain it already bringing to him just thinking about it. The idea of not enjoying the time they have together to it's fullest tears him up like a wild beast ripping through a carcass, but Seishu's will is strong, and he's decided to stick by his decision. After all, if it's not fun for the both of us, what's the point? If all I'm doing id hurting and depressing him, then. . . We do not share the same amount of willpower, that's obvious. Any his policy has always been to make himself miserable for the benefit of others. I don't share that sentiment, and I don't see the point in catering to it right now. If he is miserable, I'll just suffer alone. . . .~
