I would be more angry at Jane, but I understand her reasoning.
Kenny was going nuts and Clementine had to see that. The only thing keeping Kenny together was AJ and Clementine, and even then he was still breaking. And he showed little to no concern towards anyone else.

I personally ended up shooting him, but waited till the very last moment on the timer. I didn't want to at all, but I felt like I had to and still half-regret the decision. 
It was really the first game to ever make me cry. In my opinion it's the greatest game in history.
