Samson wasn’t always an experiment. He used to be the scientist’s dog, who decided to do some testing on the poor pup at the ripe age of 8 months.

Being a dog and all, Samson never thought of his master as an evil guy in a labcoat. He loved his master, no matter how much pain he happened to cause him in his experiments. All until he received human intelligence, of course. That’s when Samson started to resent his master. He realized this was cruel, and thus tried many times to get away from him.

About a month after receiving his increased speed, Samson finally made a run for it when his master was opening the cage to inject him with some odd, black substance.[/center][/hider]

Kumo was illegally imported to the US for testing and experimentation at the age of 2. At first, he was fierce and mean, always trying to bite the scientists when they tried to grab at him. But once they took away his intelligence, God knows how, he started to become more calm and nonchalant, resembling a neutered domestic cat who just wanted to eat and sleep.

Thus allowing the men to do tests on Kumo more easily. He never felt the desire to escape the cage, but once everything started to go downhill, such as the flatfaces-who-smelled-of-rot, he managed to roughly break out of his jail and escape the labs with ease.[/center][/hider]
