Flynn started at Alyson for a moment, dropping the supplies to the floor. Luckily he had already put the beer on the table or that would have shattered. Alyson jumped back in the shower and screamed. This brought Flynn back into reality. "I uh, um." He was at a complete loss for words. Luckily VIC chimed in, as if on cue. "Refueling complete. Take off requested." Flynn turned towards the cock-pit. "There in a second VIC." Flynn called out. He then turned back to the shower where Alyson stood, holding the door closed. "I'm sorry. I didn't see anything." Flynn said quickly trying to recover from the situation. "I mean if I did see anything it wasn't bad. Not that I was trying to look or anything." Flynn had never been at a complete loss for words. "Sorry." Was the last thing he said as he decided to go up to the cock-pit. As he sat down in his chair, he grumbled to himself slightly. "VIC, continue on course." Flynn snapped, still mad at himself. "Confirmed." VIC replied. "I need a fucking beer now." Flynn said as he held his face in his hand. He looked back and shouted to Alyson. "Are you decent? Can I come back there now?" He didn't hear a reply. He decided to stay up in the cock-pit for awhile longer just to be on the safe side. He felt the ship speed up and watched as the stars bled around the windshield. Flynn sat in the chair for several minutes just beating himself up mentally. "Why the fuck are you now so, so, horrible around her? You used to be suave. You used to be charming. Now, you're a bumbling idiot. You've never been this way around any woman, no matter how pretty they were. What the hell man?" He thought to himself. Flynn really couldn't put his finger on it. He was never good at any emotion besides anger or increasing stages of intoxication. So any feeling that wasn't these always put him in a state of confusion. He sat there, just staring at the screen. He would have to go back there eventually. He wasn't a child. He was a man. This was his ship and he shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable on it. Just because he saw some naked woman that he may or may not have feeling for, is no reason to chicken out. With that pep talk, Flynn stood up and walked back to the cabin to grab him a beer and finish putting away all the supplies.
