As Alyson approached him, he figured she was going to slug him. He waited as she approached. He was pleasantly surprised when she wrapped her arms around his neck. He instinctively wrapped his arms around her narrow waist. She whispered in his ear that he was sweet. He closed his eyes slightly. Just enjoying the feeling of her arms around his neck. She pulled back and he let his arms release her. She went and sat on the sofa and he followed after her.

He watched with a slight smile as she went on about the planet they were heading to. Hers eyes lit up as she kept talking about all the different features of the planet. Flynn felt good inside seeing her so happy. As she kept talking about it, she was using the term "we" more and more. Flynn smiled sadly as she talked. He did want to stay with her, but if he stayed, she would be in danger. She stopped talking and turned to him. She must have seen his sad smile and misinterpreted it to mean he didn't want to stay with her. She told him that once he dropped her off she could leave if he wanted.

That is not what he wanted. He wanted to tell her everything, but she had no real reason to trust him yet, so he remained silent. She then turned to him and made a request. She wanted him to say with her for a little while. She held up her fist with the pink extended out. "Pinky promise you'll stay with me for awhile?" She said. Her eyes imploring him to stay with her. Flynn's heart felt heavy. He looked at her a smiled slightly. He raised his fist and extended his pinky. He brought his fist and touched hers. "I will stay with you as long as I can. I swear it." 

His mind screamed at him. He either needed to tell her about the message he had received, drop her off at the planet and leave, or turn her in for the bounty. Those were his only options. He sighed heavily as a weight seemed to drop itself on his shoulders. He didn't want to burden her with anything. He wanted her safe. For the first time in as long as he could remember, Flynn didn't care about the money. He cared about someone other than himself. Her safety was his only concern.
