Giovanni returned. He called out Golem. Liam started with Hydro. A critical Hydro Pump KO'd it. Rhyperior was next who got a couple Thunderbolts out before being KO'd. The Mystery Pokemon was next. Giovanni told Liam to use multiple Pokemon. Hydro was exhausted from the other two rounds, but Torrent had not quite activated yet. Liam called out Snorunt.The Mystery Pokemon fired Shadow Ball and made Hydro's Torrent activate. 
"Hydro, Hydro Cannon! Snorunt! Ice Beam!" Liam called. The Powered up Water move was frozen into a spear of ice and it hurled at the armor clad Pokemon. It simply raised its hand and the Huge spear of ice stopped instantly, an inch away from its hand. It clinched its hand and the spear smashed into a fine powder, which spread all over the stadium floor.
 "Snorunt, use Ice Beam!" The tiny ice Pokemon made another ice attack which hit directly, but seemed to do nothing. The Pokemon used Psychic and KO'd Hydro. Liam swapped him out for Arcanine. 
 "Snorunt, Ice Beam! Arcanine! Flamethrower!" Liam called His plan was to freeze the armor then heat it up and hope it cracks due to sudden temperature change. A plausible theory. Liam ordered them to keep it up. When the smoke cleared, a few pieces of the armor had small cracks in it. The Pokemon used Psychic and KO'd Arcanine. Liam swapped him out for Grimm. Grimm started using Shadow Ball, while Snorunt kept up with ice attacks, hoping to get ice to form in the cracks. A Psychic attack sent Snorunt flying. Liam ran to try and catch the small Pokemon. In catching the pokemon, Liam was knock back a little bit. The Pokemon froze in its tracks briefly ,as if in shock at the gesture.
"Grimm! Fire Will O' Wisp into the frosted cracks in the armor!" Liam called as he put Snorunt back in its Pokeball and sent Chansey out. The fire attack landed in the cracks. While the armor still was solid enough to protect the Pokemon's skin, it made the cracks grow. 
 "You little runt! do you have any idea how much that armor cost?"
 "Double Shadow Ball!" Liam called. Both Pokemon domed a ball of black energy and fired them at the crack. The Pokemon used Shadow Ball and hit Grimm, sending him flying. Again Liam ran to catch him. The Pokemon stood there seemingly dumbfounded at the events it was seeing.
 "Don't just stand there! Finish him off NOW!" Giovanni roared. The Pokemon stopped and turned to Giovanni as he raised his hand. Giovanni was lifted by psychic energy. he chocked out: "How dare you! I am your master!"
This pokemon bellowed out in the minds of everyone here. "You say I was created to serve humans? This cannot be, my destiny." He threw Giovanni to the side, an Earth Badge fell out of his pocket. The Pokemon shot straight up though the roof, chunks of the armor falling as it went. Liam went over to Giovanni. "Well, lets see: I beat two of your Pokemon, you beat two of mine, your last Pokemon fled the battle, guess that means this Earth Badge is mine." Liam reached over and picked it up Giovanni snapped his fingers before becoming unconscious. A small group of Rockets came out and blocked the exit while others carried Giovanni away. The Rockets who stayed were going to keep the heroes inside while the gym collapsed from the mystery pokemon going through the roof. Sherlock came out and teleported the Rockets away right in front of Offcr Jenny and our heroes to the Pokemon Center.
