Flynn promised he’d stay with her as long as he could, and that was the only thing Alyson could’ve ever wanted. With a smile, she withdrew her pinkie from his and pulled up her legs onto the sofa. The ship was starting to cool down as it went through a few very cold parts of the universe. There weren’t a whole lot of stars or suns in the area, making it harder for the shell of the ship to keep in all the heat. With that thought, Alyson started rubbing her legs and looked over to the heating station where also was a small kitchen installed. There were just two cooking plates, a coffee machine and a working area. As time passed by, Alyson grew more and more hungry. It was true they haven’t had any food since that morning, and it was already 7PM when Alyson looked up at the clock. Did they really just spend all day talking and sleeping? “How about I cook a little something? I don’t know about you, but I am hungry!” She then said, breaking the silence once again. Something seemed to bother Flynn but Alyson couldn’t quite figure out what. When he let out another deep sigh, she got up and walked over to the kitchen. “I can make the best hot porridge in the world!” She laughed, knowing she was exaggerating. Ruffling through the cabinets of the kitchen, Alyson found several onions, carrots, and potatoes. “And by the looks of it, we can add some vegetables to make it extra yummy.” Without even waiting for Flynn to respond to her, she put a pot on with water on the stove to start boiling it. The whole ship soon started to heat up once again. Whilst the vegetables were boiling up and the porridge was nearly ready, Alyson sometimes looked over to Flynn. Why was he so quiet all of a sudden? Did something happen whilst getting supplies? Checking if she could leave the kitchen for a moment, she walked over to Flynn and sat down next to him. He had taken another beer, and absently drank from it. “Hey, is something wrong?” Was all Alyson could ask. She then took the beer from his hand and put it onto the table, making him look at her. “Did something happen? You seem to be bothered with something.”
