Alyson's face seemed to light up when Flynn said he'd stay with her as long as possible. He tried to smile too, but he knew he couldn't stay with her long. He felt the temperature of the ship cool down a little. The insulation on the ship wasn't the best and the temperature tended to fluctuate frequently. He started to go grab her a blanket as she began to rub her legs for warmth when she got up and went to the small area of the cabin that had cooking supplies. She asked him if he minded if she cooked something. Flynn smiled weakly at her. "Yea, that'll work. I think the last thing I had to eat was that cereal." She then started rummaging through the cupboards for things to cook. She laughed that she could make the best porridge ever. She went on excitedly about what ingredients she was going to use. She put on a pot of water to boil and turned to Flynn. He tried to manage a weak smile, but it apparently failed. As Alyson walked over to him and sat down on the couch. She looked at him and asked if he was okay. He nodded his head softly as he took a sip from his beer. Trying to come up with something to say to put her mind at ease. She grabbed his beer and set it on the table and looked directly in his eyes and asked him again what was wrong. She had beautiful eyes. They seemed to plead with him to tell her what was wrong. Flynn knew he couldn't keep this inside anymore. If she found out later that he didn't tell her, he might lose her for good. Flynn sighed heavily as he began. "Well, when we first took off, after we got through the bounty hunters, I got a message." Flynn looked down at the ground. "It was from the guy who put the bounty out on you. Somehow he knew you were on board. He told me I had a week to bring you to him or he'd come after us both." Flynn left out the part about the man offering him more bounty. Flynn didn't think that she would believe that he would ever turn down that much money and was lying to her. Flynn's gaze returned to Alyson's. "So, I've been trying to figure out what to do. I figure after we land I could stay a day or two, but then I'd have to leave. I don't want to put you in any danger." Flynn continued to look at Alyson, his eyes begging her to believe him. To not think that this was another set up.
