Yeah, I think that's what really turns me off the character. He's just... He comes off as kind of a sue far too often for my tastes because of it. And it just gets kind of unbelievable. I mean, I know it's kind of weird to talk about suspension of disbelief when it comes to settings involving apes with jetpacks, time travel and a guy who can circumnavigate the globe in about three seconds give or take, but some things just... I dunno, "prep time" is a lazy excuse, and I don't think even that can explain some of the stuff those kinds of characters get away with.

...I think this is probably why I prefer Batman when he's more street level and dealing with thugs and lower powered supers rather than when they pit him against gods and stuff like that. ...Then again my favourite Batfamily book was always Gotham Central, so take from that what you will.
