Jaclyn Kent Last night's buffet was good, as far as buffets go. With Miss Patch's forewarning about the morning initiation, Jack took the opportunity to carb-load, piling mainly pasta and veggies onto her plate. She didn't eat voraciously, but the quantity was enough to raise a few eyebrows. When morning came she ate a more modest meal, a banana and a glass of OJ. After breakfast she found the shower rooms, cleaned herself off, got dressed and did a run-through of the gear she'd need. "Axe? Check. Other axe? Check." Good to go. She slid Blunderbore into its loop at her hip, and hooked Thunderdell on the hanger at the small of her back. Everything else was extra, she didn't sweat the small stuff. After everything was prepped Jack headed down to the docks. When they came into view she saw a few faces she recognized and hustled her pace a bit. "Morning Reya, Kalimay. There was also a third person who Jack hadn't met, but she held off on the introductions when she noticed the heavy air between the two Signal grads. I guess she wasn't kidding when she said it wasn't me. Jack didn't really know anything about Kalimay, so whatever was getting her down was beyond understanding. Trying to change tracks and keep the mood from taking a nosedive, Jack spoke up to the girl she didn't know. "Hey, I don't think we've met. I'm Jack, how about you?"
