No, you don't have to edit. You just start your next post where my action cut off your first one. So basically, the stuff after you lit up the match didn't happen. That's why I try to avoid long-windedness when I'm within range of my opponents. In a cutthroat match like this, they're going to use every advantage I give them. The thing about post cuts though is that they have to be possible. If our characters were ten feet apart and I threw a rock, you couldn't legitimately leap forward and punch me in time to interrupt the throw, so a post cut like that wouldn't work. If, however, we were within striking distance and I bent down to pick up the rock then attack with it, you could certainly interrupt that.
