Grant walked into the kitchen, having been exploring the Ifrit after being dismissed by Emiri. He had to admit, the entire ship was impressive. It was much larger than he had anticipated, so he had been lost for a while before eventually coming back and finding said kitchen. He decided to make himself some tea, though he did overhear a bit of the conversation. Wesley and himself were similar? He could probably see it. Though hearing Wesley not wanting to admit it made Grant feel just a little bad, even if he didn't show it. He really did need to change. As the tea finished, he poured himself a cup as Wesley complimented Nadeline. At this point, he couldn't quite let him get away with that, and decided to tease Nadeline. "She is also impulsive, indecisive, and hot-headed. Gods know she needs to control that temper." Grant murmured into his tea, taking a sip as he turned to the pair.. She had been so happy to hear Wesley say that. Though of course, Uncle Grant had to go ruin it. Again. Nadeline's eye twitched, though she stomped right up to Grant, pointing a finger at him. "Did you forget that I'm right here?! Don't speak of me and pretend I won't hear it!" "Temper, temper." He chided her lightly, clasping his hand over hers and bringing it down. "You could use some of your mother's patience." Nadeline blinked, though she turned back to Wesley. "That reminds me, I'd like you to meet Mother as well. She is sweeter than sugar, I'm sure she'd love you!" Grant couldn't help but smirk slightly. She was so easy to rile up, but as soon as the topic shifted to her mother she became all doe-eyed and lovable. "I think she'd like that." He admitted to Wesley. "The doctor says if she keeps going like she is, she'll be able to go outside and walk like she used to." ------- Emiri looked at Jaakuna for a moment, taking in his words. For one reason or another, she decided to shut her thoughts out for a moment. She let go of his hand and sat up. She swung her legs onto the bed, getting on all fours and crawling on top of him. She put both hands on either side of his head, staring down at him intently. "I told you before, didn't I? I want to stay by your side." She reminded him quietly, though with one hand, she pushed his bangs off his forehead lightly. "I don't care about marriages or engagements or promises, or--or any of that. I just want to be with you. This much I am sure of." She told him, her tone slightly more determined. Her hand touched his cheek lightly, and she found herself smiling. "I mean it." She told him gently. She lowered her head, gently giving him a light kiss, though she pulled back. "Stay by my side." She pleaded him.
