I assumed the light thing completely left Plasma, especially after it was defeated by Jaden. 

As for Ancient Gears, I think people mentioned that only Golem was rare. Regardless of that, there was that copycat guy who was using Crowler's exact deck, Golem and all. So I think it's not as rare as people say it is.
