Liam overheard the Plateau's Joy talking on the phone with Cerulean's Joy, who was saying her Center was on emergency power, and that she feared something happened at the Power Plant. Liam had Sherlock teleport him to Cetulean and went west to the Power plant. He went in to investigate. Liam encountered a small yellow Pokemon that looked like it had a plug on its head.
"[i] Elekid, the Electric Pokemon.Spinning its arms around to generate electricity makes the area between its horns shine light blue. However, it can't store the energy it makes.[/i]"
Liam called on Cubone for this battle. The battle went on for a few minutes before Liam managed to catch the Elekid, nicknaming him Volt. Liam continued to investigate. Nothing seemed to be off here and he wasn't sure what was causing it. He then saw what looked like electrical discharge. He then saw a yellow wing flapping. He then saw a giant yellow bird
"[i]Zapdos, the Electric Pokemon. A legendary Pokémon that is said to live in thunderclouds. It freely controls lightning bolts.[/i]" Liam called on Snorunt. Snorunt used Powder Snow. Zapdos used Agility to move faster. Snorunt used Ice Beam again. Zapdos used Thunderbolt. Snorunt was worse for ware "Ice Beam!" This one was lucky enough to freeze Zapdos. Liam tossed a ball at the frozen bird pokemon. When the ball snapped shut, Liam recovered it and nicknamed Zapdos, Nikola. He then called on Sherlock to see how they could repair this. Sherlock used Confusion to safely reconnect all the wires and make it all work again. "Now, lets go let Cerulean's Joy know it is all fixed and return to the Plateau." Liam said. When he had done so, he sent Pokemon back to Oak's lab so he could train his two new Pokemon some. "Shiranui is going to be surprised when he sees this."
