Grey's eyes almost bulged out of his sockets; he had been found. Oh sure, all they had done was just knock on his door and say hello, but that's how they get you! This wasn't even paranoia, he had seen a few Conduit get captured with a similar trick. Well he sure as hell wasn't going to fall for it, no sir. Quickly freezing the door shut, he ran as fast as he could into the sewers to escape. He had no idea what kind of equipment they had, so he wasn't sure how long his ice would hold. Because of that, he opted to play on the safe side and leave all his things behind. Admits the flurry of panic and terror in his head, there was also sorrow; this place had been his home for close to half of his life. It was his sanctuary, a place where he could be safe, be himself. Now though, it had been compromised. He no longer had a home, no place to retreat to to feel some semblance of safety. Grey felt more alone and vulnerable then he had in years. It was almost enough to make him want to just shrivel up and die...almost. When he landed on the sewer floor, a sharp pain exploded in his right leg and he crumpled to the ground "GAHHHHHHHH!!!" the shear shock of it let a cry of pain slip out of his mouth. "No...please. I...I just took the medicine yesterday. Not this...not now" tears began to leak from his face "No...I can't let them get me" with his leg refusing to obey him, Grey was forced to try something else; freezing the ground beneath him, he reached out with one hand to grab an icicle that he had just created, and used it to pull himself forward. Although he wasn't making much progress with his body in such pain, he strength seemingly vanished
