September is my favourite month because it's always neither cold nor warm. (Also, you reminded me to change my calendar, thank you.)
Says you. I just moved to a college campus with a reputation for being cold. That is all anyone ever says about it. When people asked me where I was going to college, and I told them "Oswego", they always replied, "Oh, it's cold up there, you know?". Yes I know. I hear it from everyone I mention it to and even all the tour guides I met with back when I toured the place a couple times those odd months ago, with everyone agreeing that winter here is horrific. Well you know what? Ever since I got here the weather has been nothing but sweltering. Way hotter than what I'm used to at home - and I only moved about an hour drive away! I didn't pack very many shorts because I didn't think I'd need them - not with that legendary winter everyone keeps talking about. I had assumed that even the fall months would at least be somewhat chilly with a winter like that. But no. I have been dying of heat the past week and a half. I have been horribly misled by everyone. No one warned me it would be like this. They only said "Cold! Cold! Cold!". Now I honestly wouldn't mind if it got chilly early. D: And that's coming from someone who usually prefers to be too hot over too cold.
