Jaakuna just couldn’t believe this woman. Was her life before her comfortable lifestyle really that bad? What could have happened in her life to make her so bitter and cold? Jaakuna really didn’t understand. Maybe he really didn’t have any right to judge. For as long as he could remember, he was always in a comfortable lifestyle, never had to fend for himself. Well, that was until he became a sky pirate. Still, Jaakuna really didn’t understand why she was so bitter to her daughter. Even as she would say such things about how people all have their own roles to play, Jaakuna just couldn’t get past the next thing she would say, which was calling her own daughter a whore. Jaakuna could look past her mentioning his disgraced prince status, but calling Emiri a whore was where he drew the line of acceptance. However, before Jaakuna could get a chance to speak his piece again, she would leave. As she would indeed leave, Andre would speak, well not before letting out a groan. It was no doubt cause of his injuries. He would start by telling Jaakuna that things just don’t settle in one day. Jaakuna knew that much was indeed true. Andre would continue as he would state that years of abuse and neglect doesn’t disappear in just one day He would also state that he didn’t deserve Emiri’s visit. All the while he was, Jaakuna was disagreeing with him in his mind. Sure he didn’t know this man, but he was still Emiri’s father. No matter how many years he missed out on her life, he was still her father damn it. He would continue on about how he failed both Justine and Emiri. Jaakuna kept on disagreeing with him in his mind, but he would at least let Andre finish up. When Andre finished, he would pull out a necklace. It had a gold chain and attached to the gold chain was a golden key and heart-shaped locket. When he took it off of his neck, he placed it in Jaakuna’s let hand. He would then go tell him to go find her and give the necklace to her and tell her that still has courage in it, only if she wants it. Jaakuna wanted to say something to this, but words wouldn’t come out. Jaakuna was about to head out, but just as he was to head to the door, he turned back to Andre. “Sir, you should know that she loves you. Emiri won’t — no, more like can’t — stop loving you. You’re her father and despite everything her mother has done to her or despite you not being there, she still does love you. Her coming here is full proof of that.” Jaakuna said, putting the necklace into his pocket. “Just don’t beat yourself over it. Every man has made mistakes in his life, you nor I are no exception to that.” Jaakuna said smiling to Andre and he departed from Andre’s room. When Jaakuna was at the front desk, he would lean against it, looking to the man at the front desk. “Excuse me, the girl that asked about Lord Andre’s room, did she run past here?” Jaakuna asked politely. The man, though busy, would get to Jaakuna only a few seconds later. “Ah yes, she passed by here about twenty minutes ago.” The man replied. “Did you see which direction she went?” Jaakuna asked. “Hmm, let’s see.“ The man was trying to remember where exactly she went and then he recalled it. “Oh yes, I remember now. She went off to the gardens just down that way, sir.” The man informed Jaakuna. Jaakuna smiled. “Thank you. Have a nice day.” Jaakuna waved as he left. Going down the hallway, Jaakuna jogged and walked, as he made sure that he wasn’t missing any important turns. He would go down a right turn, through a hallway, and then he would smell something. “Are those flowers I smell?” Jaakuna mused aloud. He would try to go in the direction of the smell of the flowers. In about five or six minutes, he would come to the garden and instantly the view of it was something out of a fantasy novel. The garden had several types of lilies, all varying of color and in the center of it all was a small fountain with a statue of an angel with hands in a position praying. Jaakuna slowly walked into the garden, just trying to get a sense of the calamity from the scenery of the garden. He was actually pretty amazed that Stigma had something like this. When Jaakuna walked more around, he found the person he was looking for and she was crying. Emiri was crying, knees clenched and sitting on a bench. Jaakuna sat next to her. “This garden really is a peaceful sight.” Jaakuna said sitting next to Emiri, just looking at the flowers. ----- From the back and forth bantering between Grant and Lorenzo, to the sitting of the latter on the former, everyone seemed to be having quite the fun time. Well, maybe not Grant, but Savayna actually got the chance to see Grant not in his serious mode for once. She actually got to see that there was a hume being underneath all that ordinary façade. He actually had a personality. Though, Savayna didn’t think he would actually be one to straight out use foul language in front of woman. Truly, he was full of surprises today. As Savayna just laughed it all up, Wesley and Nadeline were just witnessing it all and then that’s when Lorenzo would pretty much that if his daughter isn’t pleased with hers and Wesley’s date, then he’s next. Wesley gulped in nervousness and fear. Once the silliness had faded, the attention of the real reason why Nadeline and Grant, and by association, Wesley and Savayna were all called to Rozarria. When Karolina and Lorenzo started speaking about it, Wesley and Savayna both listened intently. The truth of the reason was revealed in the way that Empress Reia would be dethroned by the Rozarrian Council and the reason for this being simply cause she couldn’t bear children. Savayna didn’t think much of it, but Wesley thought about it and while it made sense, it was borderline betrayal. Then as they continued, they would go on to say that Reia originally ascended to the throne after her, Lorenzo’s, and Grant’s brother killed their father, with Grant seeing it all. Savayna instantly turned her attention to Grant. Was she now feeling sorry for him? She didn’t know, but now that would explain a lot. Seeing your father killed before your very eyes and just all of that would make one act in such ways that Grant did. When Lorenzo and Karolina both finished up, the news would hit all of them differently. Wesley didn’t know what to say in this matter. He, did however, have something to say about the assassins. “Even if we should leave Stigma — whenever that may be — it’s a good thing that our temporary home is an airship.” Wesley chuckled. “Still, this is very dire news. I know not of the Empress, only what I’ve heard in rumors.” Wesley said, placing his thumb in-between his two lips and biting them. “Though, hearing all of this, the rumors are true; she would really do anything to secure her place.” Wesley was deeply troubled by this. Savayna really had no place to speak about this, but she would. “I guess we’re just going to have to protect these two chaps, then. “ Savayna said confidently. Wesley looked to Savayna. “As much as that statement is vague, I agree with Savayna. We must protect them at all costs.” Wesley said grabbing Nadeline’s hand and looking to her. “I meant what I said yesterday. I will protect you from any harm.” His eyes said it all.
