Yeah, but... I dunno anything about magic, and Iassumed that the first time it was cast (rubbing one of its two skulls on its staff), it would just make a curse that last a duration until the DM says "Leifr feels better because the curse wears off."

Unless you said that already and I missed it, or it's a channeled spell. Hmm. I dunno! The terrible witchcraft is terrible and unknown for a reason.
