With the dead approaching, Marcus did his best to fight them off with that he had. He had an idea to get giant hunks of metal and put them all in front of the gates. With the metal there, he could bend it's shape and form to create giant spires and pillars that could impale the dead, or sent out an electric current to all of them to shock all nearby enemies. He was curious to know how his abilities worked, as he had never really researched it before. Was it some sort of thing that had to do with electromagnetic fields, or was it just some sort of connection with metal? And if it was the latter, wouldn't he be able to control earth as well due to the fact that metal is just a refined version of earth? He had so many questions about his power that he couldn't answer for many reasons. One, he didn't have anything to go off of, and the other was that he was currently preoccupied with fending off zombies to think any further about the topic. He could only grunt to himself as Anora called out to Jacob. Marcus wasn't all that far away from Jacob, and he was sure that the harpy was able to see him. Despite having an important job for the city, he felt like he was fading into the background, and he didn't want for that to happen. Still, he wordlessly continued to fend off the zombies, one explosion after another aimed at the larger groups of them. He only shot a few more rounds before he ran out. He had no more explosive rounds to use, and his weapon was now useless until he made some new ammunition for it. Quickly, he scaled down the wall and rushed into his shed, Putting his gun down before facing the wall and calling out to Jacob. "Hey! I'll be right back!" He said simply as he ran towards Tobias' workstation. He needed to reassure himself that Shay was doing alright, and he quickly went off to see her.
