This reminds me of one time when I had to change a light bulb in my family's vaulted ceiling living room. It is like 20 feet from the ground and all we had was an 8 foot latter. So I had to remove a light bulb and place a new one in using a very long suction cup thing. 

So if you have a long suction cup thing I don't recommend using that because I broke a lot of light bulbs that way.
