Aoba's eyes seem a little wider than usual as he watches intently to the instructions and Kuro smiles softly at it. 'He almost looked stunned when I said he would be driving Dicxson, but he looks over that now' Once he steps back and Aoba takes his position the demon watches closely as he settles in for his first try. A look of apprehension lurks just beneath the surface smile as he waits, his hopes that the beast will not suddenly run away with the angel standing on a razors edge, and for a long moment he considers just doing it himself to avoid letting Aoba get hurt. From behind Dani watches his little brother grow more and more tense and he finds himself following suit. He does not really know why, other than such tension is normally reserved for battle and as his sibling he is always ready to back Kuro up. 'Such a dolt, getting so worked up, making me. . .Hmph' He dies his best to relax but as one the brothers jolt forward slightly at the false start. With another harrumph however Dani settles back in and crosses his arms, determined not to do it again. Kuro on the other hand drops his happy facade and watches with open apprehension, his hands clenched over his middle. However as he goes on, the only real issue being that Aoba can't seem to get the plow to do any digging, Kuro is able to breath easier. He still looks openly worried as Dicxson tries almost non-stop to wander and explore. 'That one, is he a pup? I could have sworn he'd have more discipline by now. . . .But maybe, it's because my Little Mouse does not feel “right” to him. . .' With a sigh Kuro realizes that he needs to relax, let the boy learn, and with one last whistle to Dicxson he turns and heads back into the barn to grab the second plow. Once he is out of sigh, Dani hops off the fence and begins walking next to Aoba, bombarding him with questions and criticisms about work and his handling of Dicxson respectively. Kuro hears none of this and when he walks back out with the plow the smaller demon is already back on the fence with a superior looking smile on his lips. Kuro raises an eyebrow at this both otherwise ignores his big brother, instead focusing on making the equipment ready for use. Once it is sharpened, a few rust spots removed, and a bolt or two tightened, he deems it satisfactory and stands. Dani shuffles across the fence so that he is as close to his little brother as he can get before calling out, “I thought all your beasts were babies.” Kuro turns to look at him and huffs. “They are young, but a few have matured more quickly than is normal for the breeds used.” Dani tilts his head as if trying to recall something difficult. “You used. . . .Hell hound, Inferno Cat, and some sort of earth thing, right?” It is clear from his tone that he disapproves of the last animal used. Kuro sighs and nods, “It's called a Luna Moth, you dolt.” Dani sticks out his tongue and pouts a bit. Of course he didn't remember, it's a stupid animal after all, in his opinion at least. Kuro rolls his eyes again and touching a finger to his pendant he opens a gate just like his big brother's. This one leads to his own pit instead of Dani's, and the beast that jumps through is decidedly smaller. About the side of a two-seater sports care, if not counting the six foot tail, Kuro's creation looks much less like pieces put together and more like a finer cross breeding. The hear, while decided feline, has a longer snout like a dog's, but only slightly. The legs look a little longer than a cat's, but with the structure and paws clearly feline. The tail, looking like that of a snow leopard but all black, whips back and forth like a dog wagging it's tail happily, and it's ears stand up like a cat's, but the tip on the left folds over like it does in some dogs. The body is covered in plush but not fluffy or shaggy hair, like the stuff found on spaniels. However the most prominent features are of course the only non mammalian parts, the only parts that have color. Mounted on it's back, folded in such a way that it almost looks like sheets crumpled up and set atop the beast, the wings furl and unfurl as it wanders up to Kuro, it's eyeless face turning this way and that as it's feathery antenna wave back and forth. The beautiful green color of the wings seems to look perfect against the black fur and Kuro smiles as it pats Dalia gently on the neck. “My, how you have grown. I knew you were shooting right up, but I guess the time away has really given you time to bulk up, huh?” Dani rolls his eyes at the way Kuro fawns over the beast, but stays silent. After a few more pats, Kuro turns to watch Aoba for a bit, wanting to make sure he's doing okay on his own before hooking Dalia up and heading to where he will begin plowing as well. Since it is the first year, and they are plowing by hand, Kuro makes the wise decision not to do the entire field. Instead his mind plots out about a fourth of it to work on this year.
