Subject Six suddenly heard an influx of voices over the intercom system, pressing her hands to her ears. Now that she had lost her sight, her hearing was impeccable and all this noise was overwhelming. She let out a slight whimper and slid down her cell door which was still locked, waiting until the voices slowed down. Soon they began dying out, but there was running… heavy footfalls running past her door and beyond. [b]”Hey!”[/b] she cried in a panic, believing she was begin forgotten as people escaped. [b]”Please, please let me out!”[/b] her muffled shouts came from behind the door, hitting it as hard as she could with her fists and shoulder, gripping the door handle and jerking it repeatedly and hoping for new results.
