I'd just ask for clarification.

And if it turned it to be some kind of Mary Sue attempt I'd either act on it as GM or report it to the GM. If said report didn't work I'd probably just get up and leave the RP because shit like that often leads to failure. It'd take an incredible group (or one I'm close to) to keep me from leaving.
