Over the last several months Esuterura had been adjusting. That wasn't always easy, and she would shy away from people each time. But as she got to know everyone they brought her out of her shell, at least socially. Early on she had to accept that Earth was her new home. Probably one of her greater accomplishments was learning to read, write, and understand speech. Of course that case could be made that she stone all that knowledge, but it was hard to deny the results. Actually speaking was not going to come as easily. Learning the muscle movements was a little harder to learn. Speaking of speech, when people were having trouble saying her name she took the more Earthly name of Estella. That also helped solidify in her mind her place among her peers. Life wasn't without its quarks though. Lots of things still being new it was still hard to tell what might happen when she was around. Having worked out that her powers weren't quite as effectively on Earth, she spent a lot of time trying to regain that control. Controlling wind and water wasn't very difficult, but more solid or volatile aspects kept her busy. One part she really wanted to get down again was moving earth. In the first simulation training she'd injured Austin. Estella was determined to prevent that from happening again. She would wake up extremely early and find a stone somewhere on the grounds to carve out .She knew she had to master the tiny details if she wanted the kind of control she used to have. Creations of varying size where all over her room and scattered about the Academy. Some of them where plants and animals from her world, others where here from Earth. This morning was no different and she was hard at work on another creation. Standing a few feet away she carefully moved her hands in short motions. The stone before her was carving itself out with fine detail.
