Marcus ran as fact as he could to find Shay. A look of worry was spread across his face as he went on, his thoughts focused on his friend. He hoped that she was with Tobias, as Sun had telepathically told him that she was hurt somehow. He had to make sure that she was okay, she was one of his closest friends and he worried about her. As he ran, he realized that he had never left the gates like this before. No matter what happened, he always tended to the gates. He wondered why he chose now of all times to abandon his post, but the thoughts flew out the window as he reached the room where he had heard noise coming out from. Once he reached the room, he looked inside of it and panted lightly, looking around to find Shay. When he say her, he was more than happy to see her, and slowly walked over to her, his looks of worry being replaced by a small smile. A wave of relief hit him as he saw her, and he was happy even with the dead attacking the walls that he should be guarding. "She's okay." He thought simply as he approached her, unsure of what to say or do. He didn't even register the other wounded person in the room, as all of his thoughts were focused on his friend. Once he reached her side, he exhaled lightly. "Glad to see you're okay." He said simply, not sure of what else to tell her.
