History: Lothian Belmonte was the son of a well to do horse breeder in North Carolina. in 1861 the war between the states started. During the American Revolution, the states incurred a large amount of debt to britain on behalf of those loyal to the crown. The Young government signed a treaty after agreeing to pay it's debt to the crown. fast forward. Abraham Lincoln inheritted the debt and it was time to pay up. the states did not have the money so as per the treaty England had imminent domain and Lincoln gave England large swaths of southern land. the southern states seceded to prevent this and the civil war began.Lothian was a volunteer in the confederate army in north carolina and followed general Isham Warren Garrott back to Alabama and joined the 20th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Just before the seige of Vicksburg Mississippi. after a night of heavy drinking, Lothian met a woman. one thing led to another and Lothian became a vampire. he fled to canada and since then has been wandering the streets each night chasing after his thirst.
