Cassandra "I'll take my chances," Cassie replied flatly. She could smell the meal he had brought from here and it made her feel nauseous. Food no longer appealed to her and the thought of forcing herself to eat it made her feel ill. She would have liked to have the luxury of being able to starve herself to death but that was no longer possible. Unless she went some time without the blood of a human, but even then she wasn't sure she would ever die from lack of it. She knew so little about what she had become. There were so many questions left unanswered and she did not have very much faith that anyone would ever be able to provide her with the information she so desperately desired. Not unless he somehow found her and explained exactly what he had turned her into. The pirate outside the door warned her that he was coming inside and she was pleased that he seemed to take some precaution before entering. Perhaps she really had succeeded in unsettling him the previous evening. She didn't speak as he began to open the door. After all, she was already sitting on the cot and she had no desire to rush out past him any longer. Where would she go? It was morning now and she did not want to risk going above deck. The pirate entered slowly and she studied him in the darkened room. It was easy for her to see him clearly. Her sight had improved along with her other senses and she was bothered less by the dark than she had been when she was still...human. He was handsome, in a rugged kind of way, and he stared at her for a moment or two. She simply watched him, waiting for him to speak or leave, whichever came first. She had nothing to say to him. There was nothing that could be done now until they reached land once more. Then, she could try to make an escape. "What does it matter what my name is?" Cassie snapped, looking away from him as he sat down next to her on the bed. Her body tensed, unsure of what he would do next. "I'm just another captive, am I not?" If he did not know her name, it did not bode well for her. She had not been taken to be used as ransom, then? She recalled him mentioning a drop off. Was she to be sold? "What is your name, pirate?" she demanded instead. "Why am I here? What do you plan to do with me?"
