It would take place in a dystopian-esque society, in which people starve only for entertainment and pleasure. Social interaction has grown to be null, and relationships mean nothing. Almost all relationships grow superficial, and people openly mock and curse God. And someone who hasn't been absolutely corrupted by it will be making observations of this at the beginning, while ironically playing a game on his smartphone, since he's using the advantages and avoiding the detriments, to an extent.

It continues to draw parallels until the guy speaking says that people even ignore the book written about it, and you realize that all of it parallels America today.
