"I'll try reastablishing a comm link with the other ship," Jon replied to Astra as he pulled the lower section of his armor on. "I doubt they'll answer, they seem pretty intent on trying to blow the ship apart. But, Jude give it a try." He stated as fighters drew closer to the Durendal, the enemy ship itself now in position to fire on the Durendal as well, Captain Welch trying to communicate once more with the enemy ship's captain.

"I cannot reestablish communications with the other ship, they seem to have disabled that function." The A.I. replied, controlling the ship's laser cannons as the she prepared to fire them once the fighters and enemy ship were within range.

"Twelve enemy fighters incoming," Jude said, her voice carrying through the halls of the ship as she alerted the crew. "I highly recommend our own starfighters deploy as soon as possible."

"I apologize, Astra, but their ship is not respond to our communication attempts." Jon stated through his communications device as he finished putting his armor on, then headed out of his cabin, the door shutting behind him, all of his weapons holstered and his helmet clenched in his right hand as he approached an elevator and entered it, pressing the button down the hangar.
