Marcus took that hand that Shay offered to him wordlessly and simply looked at her. He didn't know what to do or say in the situation, and simply stood there with a look that matched his current emotions. He was currently unsure of what to do or say, but he was still more than happy that she was alright. He was sure that whatever happened to her wasn't just a scratch, but he kept quiet about it for the time being. His head turned to Tobias as he spoke again, and the man was about to shake his head before he stopped himself. Marcus might have been stubborn, but the tone that the doctor was using left no room for argument. He simply nodded before glancing at his and Shay's joined hands. He hoped that Ravenia would be able to understand why he left the gates, but he also assumed that there would be some sort of punishment sooner or later for doing so. Whatever it might or might not me, he would face it without struggle. He needed to see his friend and he was sure that she needed to see him. When Sun spoke, Marcus turned his head to face the oddly beautiful young man. Like most of the city, Marcus believed that Sun was a woman when he first met him, but at the time he was being stubborn and refused to believe that Sun was in fact a man. It had taken him some time to get used to the fact that he was what he was, but nonetheless he knew of his unique powers and their uses. If Sun was planning on flying Shay home using the sprites, then Marcus would no longer have a reason to be in the hospital and he could head back to the gates. His thoughts stopped when Shay asked if Marcus could go with them, and one again he was speechless. This time, another feeling occupied his mind as he stood there. He didn't know what it was, but it made him blush just the slightest bit upon being asked to go with her. "I..." He really didn't know what to say to her. Of course he wanted to be with her to see that she made it home safely, but he just couldn't put it into words. He simply looked at her and studied her face as he stood there, nodding almost silently to her as he muttered a simple "Sure." to her. Of course, he couldn't go along with her and Sun if Sun didn't allow it, so the young man also had a say in what happened next. His head turned to him questioningly, wordlessly asking him if he could accompany them on their way to her house.
