Despite already running from the wolves, MK Ultra jumped at the sound of a huge mound of bricks suddenly slamming onto the floor. Fur thoroughly puffed, MK flinched and turned suddenly at the sight of them. The wolves, too, stopped suddenly as the mound of bricks fell, harshly breaking on the floor — though in their case, it was moreso because they didn’t want to be crushed. Even after they’d managed to preserve their own lives, the wolves hesitated to continue forward, still fearing the bricks. And, before they could resume their attack, GM’s voice spoke up to stop them. “Oh no you don’t.” he scolded sternly, making a rigid grabbing motion with his outstretched hand as the pair of canines threw their heads to the ground in pain, and the two were dragged back to their master’s side by some invisible force, as if he were physically dragging them with some unseen extension of his arm. Having preserved his pets, they then vanished as he relaxed his hand. And, not even worried about Kole anymore, his glaring eyes landed on Callum. “What are you doing with that cat?” he seethed. “Did he teach you this?” he pressed on angrily, pointing to the brick pile as MK cautiously peered out from behind the pile. —— For a while the leader of the three women narrowed her eyes skeptically as she listened to Rae’s explanation, until, as she finished, her eyes then widened as the pieces came together in her head. “Are you three spirits?” she asked, the other two huntresses stepping back warily. Not exactly hostile, nor afraid, only wary — preparing for whatever could come of the situation. The assumption that the three were “spirits” made sense from there perspective, at least — not belonging to any sort of tribe and referring to Muse as some sort of mysterious “guide”. Not to mention their outlandish appearances… The leader huntress remained calm as she continued. “What are your intentions?” “Well…” Muse mumbled, having given up trying to lift his head, now just thumping his tail lazily on the ground as he spoke. “Ya see, there was this bird, and this bus, and this ungrateful asshole…”
