I think I had an allergic reaction to nickel once.

But that was only after wearing a necklace with nickel in it, though. So it would make sense that my skin would get irritated after rubbing up against it all day. 

I can't recall dying after touching a coin, though. Just try not to fondle the things excessively and I don't think you'll notice.
