When he gave his reason, Savayna just smiled and she actually sort of laughed. Though, just by looking at him, Savayna could tell that Grant was indeed the kind of person that much rather stay at his home and not go out venturing throughout the world. She would just keep laughing at this and Savayna’s laugh was happy and a little teasing to Grant. Then, he asked her about her family. Savayna’s laughter stopped. “I-I don’t speak to them. Or rather, they don’t speak to me.” She said lowly. “I resent my father for marrying me to the Darcone family. I mean, I don’t hate them, the Darcone House. But at the time, they just wanted to save their own asses. And my mother, well she died just shortly after my wedding to Jaakuna. I never knew what or how she died. The whole thing was dropped for the sake of the Darcone House.” Savayna said gripping her pants tightly. “I do have an older brother. His name is Nicolas. He defected from Archadia and my homeland when I was thirteen. We were really close and as you can imagine, I didn’t take it very well.” Though she wondered what happened to her brother, she smiled. “You two would have gotten along, I think. He was very serious of what I remember. Though, he did have a love for nature and adventure. Actually, I remember getting a postcard from him about seven years ago and that was when I was sixteen. He wrote that he was in Stigma, actually. He told me that he loved the way the city was on water and that he wouldn’t mind showing me it someday.” She said smiling. “That was the last I heard from him. I don’t even know if he’s alive or not.” Savayna shamefully admitted, starting to show tears. As she would wipe the tears away from her eyes, she would put on a smile. “But anyways, I guess it’s my turn huh?” She said. “Have you ever been in love? I mean, legitimately in love. Like, how Lorenzo and Karolina are.” She asked him. ----- When Nadeline would go on to name the group’s flaws, she would note that Jaakuna and Savayna are crude, and how Emiri liked to keep her secrets. She would state that Grant was as expressionable as a tree. Wesley couldn’t help but laugh at that. It was a pretty loud laugh too. However, his laughing stopped when she would state that his flaw was being too rational. In his mind, he’s thinking, Since when is being rational a bad thing? Wesley would smile to her. “You’re right, I am too rational.” Wesley looked at her rather mischievously. “Perhaps I should do something that’s, oh I don’t know? Is more unpredictable and illogical.” He said grabbing Nadeline close to him. “Perhaps I should just throw all caution to the wind and take you right here in the supply room.” He said bringing her in, arms wrapped around her, and she was in so close that their bodies were pressing against each other and he could hear her breathing so clearly. “What say you to that?” ----- And with that, his heart sank. Jaakuna didn’t hear anything else. He didn’t hear her say that Vincent was placed her in a guest room he didn’t hear her ask him a question as to who Vincent wanted her to heal. No, Jaakuna’s hearing briefly stopped cause his world came crashing down once she said that Vincent was going to kill her. Jaakuna knew that she was in a lot of danger on that day, but he didn’t know just how much. Vincent was going to just use her and kill her and he was going to do it in front of Grant. He was going to kill two birds with one stone. He just couldn’t believe it. Jaakuna was shaking. His hands were the start of this and then his entire body. And then he went numb. Jaakuna started to hyperventilate, breathing in short breaths. Such short breaths that the beat of his heart and the rate at which it would beat would increase more and more up until the point Jaakuna fell to the ground, convulsing. No doubt by this point, Emiri was screaming at him, but he heard nothing. Jaakuna was in a state of shock that he felt all of this was unreal and he felt so detached by everything in his surroundings.
