1943 - Americans land in Italy (And discover pizza)
1945 - Japan offically surrenders to China ending many, many years of Japanese occupation
1947 - First Computer bug is found
1948 - Kim Ill Sung founds the Deomcratic-something-something of North Korea
1969 - The French [s]people[/s] language in Canadia now has equal status as the english language
1976 - Mao dies and the shit gets real
1991 - Tajikistan becomes independent from the USSR
1999 - Sega releases the first 128 bit console
2001 - Massoud of the "Northern Alliance" is assassinated
