The first thing I hear when I wake up was Mary shouting "UNACCEPTABLE!" I guessed that would work just like any other alarm clock, and I wake up in a hurry to see what was going on... hitting my head on the bedframe just like I did yesterday, once again. I clamber out of my bed, and hear a weird splat sound when I hit the floor... wha? I take a good look at myself, and notice that I either got a tan and lengthened my fingernails into claws, got rid of two of my fingers, and shortened my arms slightly, this was a prank, and therefore a costume, or... something even stranger was going on. Well, that was only my hands. The rest of my body seemed to follow the same theme, that is, reddish-brown, reptilian, and unfamiliar. My feet seemed to have only three toes, and I could almost feel something behind me... a quick look revealed a tail, as well, with a purple flame on the tip of it. the tail seemed to resemble a charizard's, but discolored as badly as a cheap pinata. As a quick test to see if this actually was a prank or not, I tried actually moving my tail... and to my surprise, after a bit of thought, it actually moved, and thankfully, I wasn't clumsy or stupid enough to let the fire touch the carpet... though, my bed appeared to be ruined forever now. I walked over to the mirror, really quick to see if this was a dream, and for some reason, it reflected an odd face back at me... the face looked like a mixture between a charizard's and a goodra's face, but it was also that same reddish-brown color as the rest of me supposedly was by now. H-how did this happen!? What am I? Why the heck is Mary shouting already? WHAT'S GOING ON!? I think, though, my thoughts were disrupted by another shout, again from Mary "ROGER, GET YOUR REAR END DOWN HERE!" I gulped, and headed down the stairs, where I was greeted by a sleepy, or possibly asleep, Weavile, a scared-looking Lucario, and Mary... who still looked like herself... that is, if Mary was always as red as a tomato, and angry at us. "Uh... what's-" I start to ask, with Mary interrupting by shouting "This! It's unacceptable! I will not let a blue dog, a weasel, and a..." Mary then looks over at me, and continues "fire dragon of some sort live under MY ROOF! I WORK HARD to keep this place clean WITHOUT you punks shedding, shredding, and burning the place!" Obviously, she was beyond words at this point, but fighting never got me anywhere in life, so I tried to reason with her, saying "It's still just us... I mean... we still pay for things here..." it came off as sheepish, simply because I was legitimately scared of her... sure, I was a dragon now, but that anger... she was going to do something, and it wasn't going to be good. Also, it probably wouldn't look good if I ended up fighting her... either I'd lose, or I'd have beaten up a human as a... whatever the heck I am now. Apparently, that was the last straw for her. Everything else happened so quickly, all I remember was the sound of an explosion, some sort of extremely powerful swing from a broom, or a mop, or something, and next thing I knew, Bart, who tried to help, but couldn't, Maria, who was fast asleep until she was literally kicked out, and I, who tried to trip her up using my tail a few times, were all out on the street, with Maria fast asleep again, and Bart and I looking at one another trying to see if the other knew anything about what the actual heck just happened... it turns out, neither of us did. Oh, sure I could have just said that the street looked normal, and it would still be a bad situation, with us having nowhere left to stay, but no, there were riots, random people and creatures attacking one another, and or stealing whatever they could get their dirty hands on. The street itself also looked as if it had aged about twenty years, and had aged poorly, as there were giant cracks in the shape of footprints, and some parts which were just flat-out missing. A few buildings here and there were also broken down, obviously forcing those who lived in or worked at said buildings into a scenario not much unlike our own. Some distance towards the college, there appeared to be some sort of sandstorm going on, and some distance in the opposite direction, there was a rainstorm. Thankfully, we weren't under any of that weather, but, we probably had to go somewhere in order to not end up dead, or knocked out and mugged, so, I had to ask "Um... Bart, since you're the only other one who's awake, where do you think we should go?" He shakes his head, and eventually says "I dunno, they both look like bad choices to me, but, I guess if I had to choose, I'd choose the rain... I know a place over there, a real cheap hotel we can stay at," I nod, and try, and somehow succeed in picking up and carrying Maria, who was still sleeping, and we head off into the rain, the fire on the end of my tail extinguishing almost as soon as we actually got to the rainy part.
