Carl got to his feet, and grinned, "Careful where you try and stick your rod man. On the reserve, that could get you shanked." He grinned and patted his partner on the shoulder and gave Jenny a one armed hug, "Let's find a place to flake out. I don't know abou-..."He trailed off as Andrew relayed the news. He sighed, "Ain't no rest for the wicked." He followed Ross out of the courtyard. He looked around and nodded, watching the massing soldiers. Squads humping down into the town around the fort to clean out any hiders. Already he could hear cracks as soldiers engaged small groups that had survived the arrival of the Juggernauts. Carl smiled, enjoying the feeling of a job well done. He smiled brightly and nodded, "There we go. We wrecked them. And now we have a moment or two to chill and rearm. I highly doubt command will want us to come out of here." Nolan reached over and gave his partner a pat on the shoulder, "Great job brother. Wonder if they have anything to munch on? I think I need a spliff to calm down after all this, and a little food would help." The Canadian Sniper sighed, "Let's find someplace to bunk down Andrew, my brother. We've been behind the lines for awhile now. I think we can call it for abit before we go back out. Even if we've beaten them here, they're going to need our eyes to clear this out. They'll go to ground, just like they always do." Nolan groaned and stretched hugely, "Bedtime kids! Lights out." He headed towards the box trucks coming in, wanting to atleast get something to eat before he found a corner to curl up in. ------ Victor grinned, "Between you and me, you'd have probably killed him with your frontside cannons love." He grinned broadly. Stepping towards her as she leaned into kiss his cheek, he reached up, grabbing her just a little roughly by the back of the head and was about to claim her lips, when the pilot called out. Victor sighed, "Always something...I'll safe that for later." He stepped over to the body, grabbed it and pulled it upwards. The man, who had passed out, letting out a gasp of pain as he came back around, "Oh good you are alive. I was positive I hadn't killed you." He pulled the man up, and pulled his helmet off with his other hand. Letting the man see the gruesome, red, black and yellow warpaint that Victor had put on some time ago. It was streaked from sweat in some places, but it still had that intimidating shape. He growled right into the man's face, "You remember the message I told you to deliver?" The firing of the side gunners and Natalie's big rotary cannon began. Victor grinned, "You hear that? That's what your people brought down on themselves. From here on out, I see a man who professes to be a Taliban or an Al Queda and I kill him on principal. So you get to tell the other curs what happened at the fort. You tell the other curs that we'll find them. You tell them we're coming, and hell is coming with us." He stepped over to the edge of the landing ramp, and hurled the man, underhanded. Then used a voice command to fire all his rockets into the other side of the outpost, screaming at the top of his lungs, "You tell them we're coming! And Hell's coming with us. You hear me? Hell's coming with us!" He stepped back onto the Chinook, "Pilot, get us the hell out of here. This place stinks of shit. I feel like I need a bath just from being here." The pilot quickly did as the big man said. Victor hung off the back of the Chinook by one hand and foot. Watching as the fighters below ran out to retrieve their comrade. Victor smiled, knowing that it'd only be a matter of time now. ----- Victor hrmed, "HVT huh? So no disintegration, got it." He grinned at the reference, then strapped his rebreather on, tightening it up. He also checked his kit, the warclub across the small of his back. His MP7s, and USAS12s as well. He was all kitted out and ready to go in. His own lighter tactical suit taken the place of his heavier suit. His full suit is in for repairs at a special place, the very place that helped him make it intially. They said they could have it up and running within 10 days. He hoped that would happen, he didn't want the Brute Suit out of action for too long. Either way he rolled his shoulders and then when Natalie went over the side, he went with her. He dropped into the water, and began to swim, powerful strokes of his arms and legs sending him through the water smoothly. He breathed evenly. Cutting through the water, "And here we go. Off we go into the wild blue yonder. To make money for our own freetime." He burbled a laugh into his rebreather as he swam on towards the shore.
