And thus the fight began. Grant eyed the creatures in the distance as he took out his gun. No shots, they'd be much too loud and probably end up attracting every monster in the area. Nadeline ran forward as well, her attacks swift as she stabbed the Tartarus in front of her several times. She jumped back as Emiri went forward and delivered the finishing blow. Grant extended his hand towards the Tartarus that remained. "Darkga." A surge of powerful Arcane magic surrounded the monster, and it soon erupted. It pierced through the monster, and as the magic disappeared, its body dropped to the ground soundlessly. He wandered over to Emiri, lightly dusting the snow off her cloak, and the group now looked at the Giruveganus and the two Behemoths in the distance. "Do we take them on? Or do we press forward?" Grant asked the group. "We have yet to be seen. We can still go around them." Emiri shook her head. She had estimated them, but the weather was hindering her senses. She should have been able to anticipate the Tartarus. Going around only meant that there was a possibility of another ambush. "Yet it is best if we cut a path forward rather than risk setting off more of them." She said. "I think we should avoid them." Nadeline cast her own vote.
